Hello, I'm Sarah Ross.

Hello! My name is Sarah Ross. Growing up​,​ I spent my summers in Southwest Colorado and my winters in remote areas of Mexico. The experience of being raised in two different places shaped my belief in the phrase “raised by a village.” I was mentored​,​ helped​,​ and supported by many people​,​ which instilled in me the importance of community and mutual support. These values have guided me throughout my life​,​ and I hope to bring them to Bend through my work with Lokal. I spent several years raising animals in the 4-H agriculture program and grew up with dogs and plenty of cats! Over the years​,​ I have also worked in various roles​,​ teaching kids climbing​,​ tutoring​,​ and helping at summer camps. When I’m not working in the field as a Seasonal Technician​,​ I enjoy rock climbing​,​ mountain biking​,​ reading in the sun​,​ and cooking for friends and family!
