Hello everyone! I'm Deanna- a dedicated and empathetic doula and career nanny seeking hours as a postpartum doula and​/​or day​/​overnight nanny. I have 15+ years of experience working with children of all ages (primarily infants 0-12 months through preschool). I've worked in a Montessori style setting as an infant teacher, as a nanny in both live-in and live-out scenarios, and for various nanny placement agencies outside of New York City and Boulder, Colorado. I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. After college, I spent time traveling and studying in Tenerife, Spain, Argentina and Uruguay, and worked as a camp counselor at a five star hotel primarily speaking and teaching English to children from cultures outside of the United States. I'm fully vaccinated and CPR​/​AED​/​First Aid Certified (renews Feb 2027). I have expertise in meal planning and preparation, bottle​/​chest feeding, baby lead weaning​/​spoon feeding, as well as sleep training. I'm currently studying to become certified as a postpartum doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings (BADT) in June of 2025. Outside of birth work, I'm passionate about holistic wellness and nutrition, live music, and travel. I enjoy spending time outside in Bend and around the glorious PNW. You can usually catch me adventuring outside somewhere- likely hiking or camping with my partner and 4 year old dog. :) I'm primarily looking to schedule clients for overnight postpartum doula shifts (6pm-6am window) and am also flexible to scheduling daytime hours Monday through Friday and on weekends.
